Iggy's Soot Dress
Iggy turns Fashion Week into an all out fist fight. Critics attack as the soot flies...but everyone sees it. The dress was printed with a thick layer of soot at the bottom. Iggy swirled and performed and blackness went everywhere.

Los Angeles runway in Harlem St. Alley
The smell of urine was palpable. We built a 10 story curtain to sail in the alley and borrowed a set of 4 Bang & Olufsen Penta Speakers to fire the pow. The wind picked up and the sail unfolded in the god-like moment of monumental color.

Jared Gold and his Fashion Rabbits
I was invited by Paper magazine to take part in a large art installation at the Dietsch Gallery in Soho during fashioin week. I thought abnd thought about what we could do that would show up the New Yorkers somehow and really really leave a mark. We had a crate of live madagascar hissing cockroaches shipped from Compton in Los Angeles. When it arrived at the hote, the box was clearly marked LIVE COCKROACHES. Needless to say, the staff was mortified. Once we got the box up to our room we started loading the roaches into small white candy bags that I had stamped my logo onto. Once we had enough "treat" bags for the performance we head over the the gallery. Inside we proceeded to have a light tap-dance performance to a xylophone while we screen printed chocolate syrup bunny logos all over the walls of the gallery. We then started passing our the treat bags to the attendees. A small child was the first person to open their bag and let out "OH!. they gave me a bug!" As soon as we heard the first notification that someone knew what was up, we released the rest of the cockroaches in the gallery, ran out to the curb and hopped in a cab and went to dinner. The pyre of our gallery performance smoldered in the background.
