Black Chandelier Merchandise
We wanted to make everything in-house and we really tried. Most everything here is made in Utah.

Black Chandelier Pin Sets
Everyone on staff was encouraged to contribute designs to be made into pins. We made pinsets anytime a new private joke would break out or somebody found a horrible book. This is a small sampling of the designs...more to come.
Stationery Sets
One of our best sellers at all the retail stores. We would just make it in the studio on a really cool color printer that used hot wax as a printing medium. Sometimes you could feel the surface of the print.
Black Chandelier Holiday Wishbook
This was a huge production to get all of the products produce-able and designed in time to get the images in the look book. I have been obsessed with the Sears catalog since a child, and I wanted to recreate that special time of year magic that I felt back them.
Webstore Photos
This is probably the most complete overview of all the later items produced at Black Chandelier. In order to prep items to be sold on the web, everything had to be photographed and separated from the background. This job never ended....
Black Chandelier Co-branded merchandise and screen prints
Very early on in the company we started producing items for other people, mostly friends. The we were always looking for new clients. It was fun, and our dry humor was infectious.
Olfactory Surrealism Candles
In our quest to make your scent-environment familiar and comfortable as well as exciting and delicious, we have created scents based in memory and imagination. Olfactory Surrealism meshes rare and ridiculous ingredients from around the world with daring ideas and reckless abandon. The candles use a blend of soy waxes at various densities to ensure even burning and maximum scent penetration. They are scented with the highest quantity of oil the wax will carry to ensure vivid intensity in the burn as well as a sootless finish. All original candle artwork by Bradley F. Edwards.
Black Chandelier China by Bradley F. Edwards
We really wanted to develop some china that had that old-timey transferware. We designed an entire dessert service with multiple designs. The dessert service really was the first appearance of the sheer delight principle: Just make it as wonderful as possible.
Hatch Family Chocolates
Branding, packaging, and merchandise
Branding, packaging, and merchandise
Black Chandelier would create items for other stores on occasion. The family run Hatch Family Chocolates is a favorite in Salt Lake City. The Black Chandelier embroidered candy box, was a gift from Barak to Michelle one year for Valentines Day.
Pink Chandelier
Children's collection. I always wanted to try it. Instead of making it loud and course...try something sophisticated and dreamlike. We were plagued with requests to create the items in ladies sizes. We did. Catalog

Kaitlyn and Megan wearing the first Pink Chandelier children's collection. Titles Sassafrass, the collection featured oversized screen prints, soft dust colored natural fabrics, with high fashion silhouettes and imagery.
Make and Do
In an ever-ending search to create new products for the retail stores, the Make and Do projects were developed so people could do crafts at home with the Black Chandelier artwork. We would bring in bulk craft supplies and repackage them into kits that would retail for 5 dollars. So much great artwork for this project...
Bunny Nativity Set
by Bradley F. Edwards.
Unfortunately we never put this into production. It seems like every year we would try another nativity scene.

Bloodbay Foundry Collection
This was our first attempt at a fully constructed streetwear collection. Based on really messy garment dying, each of the pieces ended up with a very personal identity. The dying was a variable as well as the hand screen printing. I wanted the collection to feel old west and distressed, but somehow clean?
Imaginary Botanicals Candles
Black Chandelier has traveled far and wide to bring you the most strange and magical scents in existence for the Imaginary Botanicals Collection. From haunted caverns to man eating swamps, we have tirelessly chased these illusive and legendary botanicals to create wonderfully intoxicating candles. Don’t bother referencing botanicals texts for the registry of these plants, leaves, and fruits; search instead fairytales, legends and the dreamiest dalliances of your own heart.
Black Chandelier Skate
Beautiful boards with technical design by Andy Pitts. Matthew Stevens and myself made surface designs as well.
Labels and garment branding
Labels and branding were constantly changing with each collection or new manufacturer. This gallery highlights some of the design and delight that went into these usually very low key materials.
Black Chandelier Luxury Cashmere
This was our first attempt at offshore manufacturing. The Chinese company that was producing the cashmere was absolutely amazing. All of the items arrived perfectly and we proceeded to screen print and embroider everything as if it were a t-shirt.
