There has always been a tangible dark side to a usually positive and exhuberant design career. People are drawn to the dichotomy, the enigma of something being slightly "more" somehow. Their ears pricked up as if listening to a train crash through a far away restaurant. I wanted the garments to have something notably different about them right away... The fearlessness of the design attracted the press, the reasons behind it kept them loyal.
